The News is in...

Man, what is this all about? We found out yesterday (preg), but I noticed earlier she was in the red in no time, and then back to Earth like nothing happened. We are approx 20 days preg. My wife, like a lot, can be emotional, however she will bottle up and then explode. This feels like walking through a mine field. I'm thankful we've been together 7yrs, so I'm familiar with her normal behavior. Is she milking this a little or are these the ripples of the hurricane?

Now she has only told a couple of classmates so as not to get her hopes up with mother talk and have everything crashing down with a negative or an early miscarriage. I too want to be pregnant, but it is obviously more painful for her. Thanks again for the support. God Bless.

At 1:09pm on May 3rd, 2008, prouddad328 said…: Congrats on the news....My wife Rachel and I got the same news in July of last year and we were so excited yet as you say...we got the news and then it was back to earth......until the first couple ultrasounds and it really hits home when you feel your son or daughter kicking inside your wifes tummy....its a really cool feeling for you but somewhat not so cool for her because it hurts..but its still special for both of you. But yeah about being emotional.......my wife was so emotional...before it was all said and done some of her personality had actually changed...and I totally agree with you...it is like walking through a minefield.....you never know when you are going step on a mine and see it blow up in your face because my wife is the same way....
