IN NEED OF HELP
Hi guys! I need some help. I lost my job in July of this year . I have been out weekly looking for new employment. With the economy the way it is , no one is hiring . I have fallen behind on my mortgage and other bills. Is there anyone available for assistance ? I have tried United Way and have applied for HEAP assistance for utilities. I need my house . I am afraid of foreclosure.

No need to afraid of things going. Just try to find some jobs or you can even do online business to earn some money and you can pay your bills.

when applying for jobs, are you only applying to places that go with a degree you have, or are you applying every place hiring, places that go with you career are not always gonna be hiring, even the it might not be the best job, fast food, or some retail store can bring you in a little income, to hold you over till you can get better income.

You also HAVE to talk to your bank (or whomever granted your loan) about potential deferment plans or other options they have to avoid foreclosure. The bank also loses a lot of income on foreclosures - so it's in their best interest to avoid this situation if they can. Sometimes there are options for people who have lost their jobs or have limited income.
In the meantime, I totally agree with Langdon - you can't be too picky about the type of work you take.

Getting online and networking is a good start. Now, you can start letting people know that you are out of work, and actively searching for work. You may also try using some wording like; "I was working in the _______ field, and got laid off, now I am looking for ____________ type of work to get me back on track again.
You have to let everyone around you know that you are looking for a job, and what you are most comfortable doing.
* Linkedin is a social networking site geared specifically towards serving the needs of job seekers who network online.
