The bond of fatherhood

We are having a boy in a couple of months and I have not made up my mind if I want to circumsize him or not. I am circumsized myself and some people think that the son should look like his Dad.
Is there anyone out ther who had this issue?
and by the way, my wife left the decision to me.......

I like to think of it as an unnecessary surgical procedure. So why have it done.

I was almost positive, up until a few days ago, that if I ever had a son, that I would circumcise him too. It is the norm to me, because I am, but my wife read me some research on the topic. I guess when a boy is circumcised, this removes, on average, about 37% of stimulation. That alone is incredible. Also, it's not a hygiene thing, because when the tradition began the majority of people didn't have means of cleaning their body everyday, or anything close to it. Really, it is just a way to further create differences in humans. To me, it's kind of a segregation. If I could turn back time, I would convince my parents to leave my penis the way the universe had intended it, all skin attached. Plus, people say it doesn't hurt the baby. Some people say babies don't feel pain. What the hell is that about? Babies scream and cry in agony for hours after their dick is chopped back a bit. Screw that. Though, it is tradition, especially amongst certain cultures/religions, and I respect that, especially being that I am circumcised. Word.

yes, there are hygiene issues involved, however, i am not circumsized. If one is bathed on a daily, (or every other day with infants), basis there is nothing wrong with not having the procedure done.
